I love the great outdoors. I really do. But nothing beats a warm apartment, a reliable hot water supply and smooth sheets. Cheers to not shivering after a hot shower!
This Airbnb apartment was a godsend after 6 nights in Atacama/Uyuni. Just looking at the modern décor and fixtures made my heart sing. After the Puerto Varas airbnb experience, I almost wanted to cancel this apartment and book a hotel instead (didn’t want to run the risk of another apartment with no central heating and erratic hot water). I’m so glad we didn’t waste that money as this apartment had everything we wanted.
The space wasn’t large but it was just nice for two. The location was great too. Right next to Bellas Artes metro station, with a supermarket round the corner and within walking distance to quite a number of tourist attractions. The host, Paulina, was very responsive to all our queries. Check-in was smooth and easy. Simply collect the keys from the doorman.
