The hotel is connected to the airport terminal 2 via an external walkway. It is about a 10-minute walk from terminal 2 and 15-20 minutes from terminal 1. You will be partially exposed to the weather at certain portions, so do wrap up if you are here during winter.
The room is great. It is big enough and has everything we need for a short stay. The bed sheets do seem scratchier than I would like them to be but it shouldn’t stop me from having a good night’s sleep tonight.
The best part? The bathroom floors are HEATED. I can’t tell you how awesome it is to have a warm bathroom. I hate shivering when I get out of a hot shower. The shower is also fantastic. Hot and strong. Exactly what one needs after a long flight.
The room looks out to some rectangular zen-like space.
Bottom line, great hotel for a layover or short stay in Helsinki. The city centre is only approx. 30 mins away and easily accessible via airport trains/buses.
