Santiago in a Day

Ever since we landed at the Santiago airport 21 days ago and saw the mountain range looming in the distance through the terminal windows, I’ve been eager to get a closer look at the city. We only had one day but we made the most of it.

Santiago reminds me of Europe, with its gracious colonial buildings and grand cathedrals. Attractions-wise, there weren’t any standout places except for San Cristobal (stupendous views), but we enjoyed exploring the city and people-watching. Somehow, we felt at home in the city (and perfectly safe). A few more days would have been ideal but one was sufficient to get a feel of the city. Definitely worth visiting in my books!
