This hotel is truly in a class of its own. First off, the LOCATION. Inside Torres Del Paine National Park and right on the shore of the amazingly bright turquoise Lake Pehoé.
Light wood and large windows dominate the entire hotel, reminding us every minute that we were in Patagonia. The lounge area was the gathering point for all guests every evening. Guides would be waiting to advise on the activities available the following day.
Restaurant
There is only one restaurant and we ate all our meals there (unless we were out on an activity). No room service. 😆
The food was generally excellent.
Spa
The lovely spa and pool are located a short walk away from the main building.
Salto Chico
Round the corner, there is a path to the tumbling Salto Chico falls, for which the hotel is named after.
No words can fully describe how much Explora means to us. They made our honeymoon truly special.
